We are called to serve.  We were created to make a difference in this world with our God-given talents.  Ultimately, what counts is not the duration of our life but the donation of it.  Our greatest example, of course, is Jesus Christ who carried out His ministry by being available, being grateful, and being faithful to complete the work assigned by the Father.
